President Brad Belanger called meeting to order at 19:02. BFFA welcome given by Chief David Folk. Held pledge and moment of silence. Past Presidents acknowledged

Secretary’s Report: motion made to dispense the reading of the minutes.

Treasures Report: Given by Dean Ege.

Training:

• BFFA Conference – January 6^th & 7^th - Sauk Valley Community College

• Fire Origin and Cause Awareness – January 13^th - Rockton

• Methamphetamine Lab Awareness – January 16^th – Leaf River

• Light and Fight Tower Burns - 8 hours – March 24^th – Cherry Valley

• Basic Wildland Certification - 20 hours – April 13^th – 15^th - Carpentersville

Newsletter: No Report

Membership: Still have members that have not paid dues for 2006-2007, please check to make sure that your department has paid its dues.

Fundraising: 50/50 reminder: money and tickets can be turned in at conference. Drawing to be on last day of conference - Jan 7^th. Please get your tickets in as soon as possible.

Resources: No Report

Conference: 2007 Conference - January 6^th & 7^th, 2007 at Sauk Valley Community College. Those attending should park in the east parking lot of Sauk Valley College. There will be an option to pre-register on Friday January 5^th for those interested in pre-registering.

Water Fight: No Report

Funeral Committee: There will be Honor Guard training at the BFFA Conference for those interested.

Website: No Report

Old Business: Confined Space Trailer is now available for use.

New Business: The printer that we use for the BFFA mailing is starting to malfunction due to excessive wear with our new mailing format. We will need to start looking into new options for the mailing.
