Dear Chief,

The Mendota Fire Department would like to extend an invitation to you and the members of your department to attend our 133rd Annual Card Party and Dance.  The Card Party will take place on the evening of Saturday February 4, 2006 at the Mendota Civic Center, but the dances will be held at three separate locations.  The Mendota Elks Lodge will host the Blues, Funk and Party music of “The Pat Egan Band”, while the Mendota Moose Lodge will be host to the Country Music Band “One Night Stand”, and the Mendota Civic Center will have Rock and Roll music by “Free Beer and Chicken”.  Just have your members show their badge or department I.D. at the door to receive free admission.

Along with the dance and card party we are trying something new  this year.  We will be hosting a 100 player Texas Hold em’ tournament which will take place at the Mendota Moose Lodge at noon with registration at 11:00 a.m.  Cost of the tourney is $50.00 plus $5.00 entry.  The tourney will also offer a $25.00 rebuy during the first hour of play.  There is a sign-up form at the Mendota Moose Lodge for those wishing to sign up early as seats may fill fast.

Sincerely,

Lonny Eisenberg

Dance Chairman
