Secretary’s Report: Motion made to dispense the reading of the minutes.
Treasures Report: Balance in checking $6,997.49 as of 02/14/07
Total Net worth: $ 60,949.74 Motion was made to approve the report and pay the bills
Motion made to allocate $150.00 to cover the expense for the dues notices. Dues notices will go out two weeks after the minutes. Motion passed

Safety: No Report
Newsletter: BFFA printer is failing. Decision needed on what action BFFA should take on printing for monthly minutes.
Membership: Jeff Bryant introduced Jim Axt from Hastings Air-Energy Control. Hastings became members this month and will be at the Sublette meeting with a short demonstration after the meeting.
Fundraising: Alternate years on the 50/50 raffle to allow more ticket sales.
Resources: No report
Conference: Full report should be available in March. Still receiving money from attendees.
Water Fight: Hooppole Fire Dept. Waterfights, Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, Over-head fights start at 10:00 am sharp with the on-ground fights starting after over-head.
Funeral Committee: Bills have been sent out for gloves from services
Website: Renewed the domain and the web hosting for the website for 2007.
History: In progress
Old Business:
Confined Space trailer is in Mendota and is available for use. Contact Mike or Brad for arrangements. Discussion about new tires and maintenance work on the trailer. Check the website for requirements to tow the trailer.
Bus trip: Still looking for more economical options to go to Springfield to the firefighter’s memorial. Any one who has an idea contact Dean or Brad.
New Business:
President Belanger brought up the fact the FDIC Indy is the going on the same week as the April BFFA meeting. President asked membership if there was an objection to changing the date of the meeting. April Host is Shabbona Fire and they advised April 12th will fit their schedule. Motion was made and passed.
Karen Daub from OSF spoke briefly about how the exposure and networking she has gained through participating in BFFA has made a real difference when it comes to working in the field. BFFA is a very effective organization for building working relationships with other agency’s and people.
