It is with deep regret that the Prophetstown Fire Department announces the death of Firefighter Tony Silva. Firefighter Silva was a 2½-year veteran of the Prophetstown Fire Department.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the First Lutheran Church of Prophetstown at 300 W. 3rd Street from 1600 to 2000 hours. A firefighter walk through is scheduled for 1900 hours. Firefighters wishing to participate in the walk through should meet no later than 1830 hours at the First Lutheran Church.
Funeral service will commence at 1100 hours on January 3, 2007 at the First Lutheran Church of Prophetstown located at 300 W. 3rd Street in Prophetstown.
Departments wishing to send fire vehicles to the funeral service on Wednesday should contact Lt. Larry Dessing of the Prophetstown Fire Department at 1-815-499-4558.
